2b-innovative ideally is a follow-up programme to both 2b-commercial & 2b-demand; however where required it can operate as a stand-alone course. The programme targets researchers & marketers wanting to provide superior insight to innovation-led projects, with again the premise of this programme being that this can only be achieved via a commercial understanding of innovation drivers.
The overall objectives of the programme are to provide:
- knowledge of the typical innovation funnel & the role that market research plays in each phase
- ability to derive meaningful actionable insight & hence compelling strategic recommendations based on a commercial understanding of innovation drivers
Thus the programme focuses on a demonstrated understanding of:
- what is innovation & its commercial drivers
- the typical innovation funnel phases & how market research can assist in each
- what to take in to account at the upfront project stage & final presentation
The programme comprises a half day, with an exercise for completion before the session & a case study to ensure learning integration.
