The programme targets researchers & marketers wanting to provide superior insight to innovation-led projects, with again the premise of this programme being that this can only be achieved via a commercial understanding of innovation drivers.

The overall objectives of the programme are to provide:

  • knowledge of the typical innovation funnel & the role that market research plays in each phase
  • ability to derive meaningful actionable insight & hence compelling strategic recommendations based on a commercial understanding of innovation drivers

Thus the programme focuses on a demonstrated understanding of:

  • what is innovation & its commercial drivers
  • the typical innovation funnel phases & how market research can assist in each
  • what to take in to account at the upfront project stage & final presentation
The programme comprises a half day, with an exercise for completion before the session & a case study to ensure learning integration.
