2b-research is a stand-alone course designed to ensure that marketers understand the principles of market research & how to leverage its maximum value from briefing stage to the end results.

The overall objectives of the programme are to provide:

  • knowledge of how to brief market researchers effectively in line with business objectives, & subsequently to manage the project through to completion ensuring its maximum value is leveraged
  • ability to take the research findings & translate these in to meaningful actionable insight & hence compelling strategic recommendations

Thus the programme focuses on a demonstrated understanding of:

  • market research, its role & basic techniques available
  • step-by-step guide to write an effective research brief & the importance thereof
  • how to assess against the brief the:
    • research proposal
    • questionnaire/discussion guide
    • final presentation
  • how to take the final presentation further to meet business objectives
The programme comprises a full day, ideally split over 2 half days with an exercise for completion before the session & a case study to ensure learning integration.
